This is an intermediate level programme. A working knowledge of basic photographic skills and techniques is required.
Photocourse 1 provides an ideal introductory level course ahead of PC2.
This part-time course, run from our studios in central Wellington, continues from
Photocourse 1 and provides more challenging, in-depth creative workshops and assignments. We will look further
into the major themes of photography and help you to
build on your photographic seeing skills and enhance your creative use of camera and lighting techniques.
The aim of the course is for you to build a set of images suitable for a portfolio, edited down from any or all of the modules. This will be presented
and reviewed in a wrap-up weekend workshop at the end of the course.
We have structured Photocourse 2 into three main creative modules:
- The Portrait (including studio) - running 14th June to 19th July 2010
- The Documentary - running 2nd August to 6th September 2010
- The Landscape - running 20th September to 25th October 2010
- The Portfolio - weekend workshop of final selection of work, feedback on style and direction, running 27th-28th November 2010
The listed dates are Monday evenings, 6pm to 8pm, and there will be additional, flexible workshop times, tba. Some of these
will be on Saturdays.
While the modules can be done individually, priority for places will be given to people wanting to do all 3 main modules.
Pricing is as follows:
