Return series (with Lisa Clunie) -2003
These images were made by double-exposing whole rolls of 35mm black & white film. Cathy Tuato'o Ross photographed in
Dunedin then Lisa Clunie shot on the same roll of film in the U.K., or vice-versa.
Whoever photographed first on the roll
loosely described the subject matter so that the other could respond. The superimposition of photographic images from both
hemispheres was otherwise random.
