The darkroom will be set up for you to use, the chemicals mixed and put out in trays. We'll show you how the enlarger operates and how to process a print, but basic darkroom experience is assumed. Someone skilled in darkroom use will be available to offer help and advice as needed.

The darkroom includes a Beseler 4"x5" enlarger, which is also good for 35mm and medium-format work.

A second enlarger (DeVere) is available for an extra $5.00 per hour. (Two people can work at a time.)

The setup can easily handle printmaking up to 12"x16" (30x40cm), and 16"x20" prints can be made in small numbers at a time.

There is also provision for developing your own conventional 35mm and medium format film. Standard chemicals are provided for this.
