Silverstream Village
I have lived in Silverstream for over thirty years. Silverstream still has a "village" feel about it which is part of its appeal. The shop keepers, professionals and other business people operating in the Silverstream shopping village are a key to that appeal and to the community of Silverstream.
This exhibition features many of those who contribute to the community of Silverstream through their various business or professional activities in the village. Since my retirement I have come to know them better and now wish to give acknowledgement to them through this exhibition.
Photography has been a hobby of mine for many years although it is only in recent years that I have taken it more seriously. Working up to this exhibition with the other participants has been an enjoyable experience; it is wonderful to work with and share views and ideas with people who have portrayed such a diversity of subjects.
My thanks to all who agreed to participate in this photographic record of Silverstream village, the place I and many others call home.
