Strange Occurrences is a team of investigators of hauntings and paranormal phenomena - ghost hunters, for want of a better term - operating in Wellington, New Zealand. We also investigate outside Wellington.

We are looking for houses, buildings and other places to conduct our paranormal investigations - an abandoned hospital, a haunted phone box or anything in between.

• You have had what may be a supernatural experience.
• You suspect your home or business premises is haunted or has some kind of paranormal activity.

We approach paranormal investigations with a commonsense, open-minded attitude and a level-headed, scientific method. We first look for the simplest, non-paranormal reasons for any phenomenon. Many experiences of paranormal activity are caused by natural physical effects in the environment, but, as Albert Einstein said:
"It is possible that there exist emanations that are still unknown to us. Do you remember how electrical currents and unseen waves were laughed at? The knowledge about man is still in its infancy."

Reputedly haunted houses, buildings and other locations are meat and drink to us, but we are also intrigued by Fortean phenomena, cryptozoology, UFO sightings, telepathy, telekinesis, ESP, clairvoyance, clairaudience, premonitions, extraordinary coincidences, remote seeing, out of body experiences, automatic writing and a range of other phenomena (collectively termed Psi) that defy explanation.

With two professional photographers in our team, we are very interested in photographs with possible paranormal content, photos of ghosts or other unexplained phenomena.

So please don't hesitate to aproach us. We understand it may be difficult to speak about your experiences outside your circle of friends and family, and we all know what it's like to witness something unsettling or just plain scary. We will treat your enquiry with respect, sensitivity, care and discretion.
